The job of a crew member is to assist the foreman of the cleaning or televising crew. The crew member is expected to complete a variety of different tasks, they may vary on a day-to-day basis. Crew members will work closely with the foreman. To succeed in this role, you should be a fast learner, have good listening skills, ability to read maps and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities with Cleaning Crews:
- Haul water with pick-up truck and trailer
- Help set up at manholes
- Set up work zone traffic control
- Keep company vehicles organized and stocked for the job
Position Responsibilities with Televising Crews:
- Maintain televising equipment
- Help set up the camera at manholes
- Measure depths of manholes
- Keep company vehicles organized and stocked for the job
Requirements
- Class B CDL with tanker is a plus, but not required
- Construction background preferred, but not required
- Clean driving record
- Ability to read & understand maps
- Willing to travel out of town & overnight throughout the year
- Organization, multitasking, and time management
